Description

Considered among the finest of the Speyside malt distilleries and one of the few of its age to still be family-owned. J&G Grant became its sole shareholders in 1898 and continue to run it in a traditional manner, notably using direct-fired stills to create a rich, weighty spirit. Glenfarclas is known for fully ageing in Oloroso sherry casks, which lends all their whiskies a distinctive character along with classic sherried notes of sharp spice, nutty richness, Christmas cake, and dried fruits.
