Light and creamy with supple, soft sherry, Manuka honey, hints of smoke, rich oak, and pine resin. Fresh with dried cherries, prunes, and spiced rum. Malt, oak, dried fruits, nut-cake, honeyed sherry, grass, light peat, and chocolate.
Palate
Medium-bodied, with notes of date and walnut cake, Oloroso sherry, earthy forest floor, malt, and toffee apple, with a touch of smoke. Sweet caramel, sherry, spice (ginger, cinnamon), salt, oak, and orange zest. Honeysuckle, vanilla, and oak tannins. Full-bodied sherried fruit, oak, and sweet sensations.
Finish
Spicy and long, with notes of allspice, cinnamon, cloves, orange zest, and sherry. Lingering caramel, sherry, oak, and distinct earth notes. A bit dry but fueled by fruit and sherry, peppered with spice and an ambiguous sweetness.
