The ripe apricot and fig marmalade, then creamy pear and coconut, give this a rounded, gently sweet character. Strawberry jam and caramelised pineapple carry that through the finish. At 43.5% ABV, the strength seems a sensible fit for these softer notes.

Pear and coconut meet a little Sherry acidity, while malt and charred oak give the palate more depth. The strawberry preserve, walnuts and cinnamon add another inviting layer, and the strawberry jam and caramelised pineapple carry that fruit into the finish. It sounds generous and layered without losing its easy, creamy character.
