Nose
Lush fig preserve, date syrup and Seville-orange marmalade rise over beeswax-polished oak, cigar humidor and a touch of mocha.
Palate
Velvet waves of treacle toffee, black-cherry chocolate and malt loaf coat the tongue, followed by clove-spiced caramel, walnut oil and a bright flash of candied citrus peel.
Finish
Long, warming and gracefully dry—lingering sherry-soaked fruitcake, supple oak tannin, subtle rancio leather and a final whisper of vanilla-malt sweetness.
