Description

This bottle comes from The Glenlivet's Single Cask Edition series. It was aged for 18 years in cask #96421 and bottled in January 2016 with an outturn of 660 bottles. This edition is named 'Allargue' and is a beautiful example of a Speyside whisky. Speyside single malts are single malt Scotch whiskies, distilled in Strathspey, the area around the River Spey in Moray and Badenoch and Strathspey, in northeastern Scotland. Speyside has the greatest number of distilleries of any of the regions. [2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10]

Soft but oak-y barley, with notes of vanilla tablet and cinnamon sticks.
