Description

One of the best-known names in Speyside, The Glenlivet distillery was founded in 1859 by George Smith. This limited release malt from the Cellar Collection was distilled in 1983 and bottled in 2003, after maturing for approximately 20 years. It spent its latter life finishing in French Limousin oak casks. Only 8,000 bottles were produced, with 3,000 allocated to the United States.
