Description

A Speyside malt distillery that is today part of the Edrington Group following its acquisition of Highland Distillers in 1999. Unusually, the distillery and its brand had different owners between 2010 and 2017 when the label was briefly sold to Berry Brothers & Rudd in London. This Glenrothes 40 Year Old Imperious Whisky Reserve is a limited and rare release, matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned oak and ex-bourbon casks.
