Description

A Highland malt distillery and one of the oldest in Scotland, founded in 1763. Its modern history begins in 1959 when saved from closure by James Fairlie, and it is today owned by Glenturret Holding, a joint venture between the Lalique Group and Swiss businessman, Hansjörg Wyss. This extremely limited whisky was distilled in 1987 and aged in single cask #580 for 29 years. It was bottled in 2019 and sold as a distillery exclusive. The bottlings became known as The Long Forgotten. One of only four Glencairn Crystal decanters produced.
