Description

The second malt distillery to be built in Japan by Suntory, it was opened in 1973. The original facility was replaced by a new one in 1981 and it has the ability to produce a range of different spirit styles. The Hakushu single malt brand tends to showcase its peated production however. This is a unique single grain rye expression from Hakushu, part of 'The Essence of Suntory Whisky' series, launched in February 2018. It features a brilliant rye body and spicy aroma.
