Description

Highland Park remains the most northerly whisky distillery in Scotland, located in Kirkwall on the main island of Orkney. This 2001 vintage single malt was distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2012, making it an 11-year-old expression. Created exclusively for Global Travel Retail, it is presented in a 1-liter bottle at 40% ABV. The whisky is known for its sweet and smoky profile, matured in sherry oak casks from Spain, with a high proportion of first-fill American oak casks also contributing to its character.
