Description
In late 2003, the firm of John Scott & Miller Ltd released two extremely limited bottlings of 'HIGHLAND PARK', under its own 'John Scott's' label. These were bottled in conjunction with Duncan Taylor & Co. of Huntly, and derived from the contents of two quarter casks laid down in the Sixties by the present proprietor's late father (the former proprietor). This spectacular 42 year old Highland Park single malt was laid to rest at the Orkney Isles Highland Park distillery in 1967 and bottled for John Scott & Miller Ltd under their John Scott's label in 2009. This release is one of just 12 single casks that were laid down in the 1960's by Robert Firth Miller, former proprietor of John Scott & Miller Ltd. Drawn from single cask number 6282 at a natural strength 50.3% ABV, this Sherry matured beauty is one of just 190 bottles that were bottled in conjunction with Duncan Taylor & Co. Ltd.
