Nose
Lots of coastal notes with basalt, salinity, sand, marram grass. A whiff of smoke and vanilla. Notes of heather, hessian, old wood, dry wood spices and tree bark.
Palate
Dry wood spices and tree bark. Coastal notes with sand and some brine. Charcoal, heather, and a minor note of honey sweetness. Waxy, oily texture, floral honey, sweet smoky, green banana, pears and apples.
Finish
Heather honey, earthiness, and less coastal notes. Leather, ginger, spicy smoky, with a nice length. Salt makes an encore, followed by soft bonfire smoke and a whisper of lemon peel.
