Description

Highland Park 17 Year Old The Dark is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky, released in late 2017 as the first in a diptych celebrating the seasons on Orkney, focusing on autumn and winter. Matured exclusively for 17 years in first-fill European oak sherry seasoned casks, it is bottled at 52.9% ABV, non-chill filtered, and presented in a striking black embossed bottle with a serpent-dragon design and a wooden display case. Only 28,000 bottles were released worldwide. It was awarded a Double Gold Medal and Best Distillers' Single Malt Scotch 13-19 Years at the 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
