Nose
lightly smoked with a farmy character. Notes of gentle peat and apples and pears. A touch of stemmy grass and honey with plenty of malty barley.
Palate
quite rich and very creamy. The barley and malt extract notes are quite something with a gristy character. Rum spice and dark sugar builds with oaked intent.
Finish
long and well oaked with more dark sugar on the tail.
