Description

Jack Daniel's Silver Select is a distinguished Tennessee Whiskey, hand-selected and bottled at a robust 100 proof (50% ABV). Each bottle is drawn from a single barrel, ensuring a unique tasting experience with subtle variations between batches. The barrels are aged in the highest reaches of the barrelhouses, imparting a deeper color and character. Originally released in 1997 as a Travel Retail exclusive, Silver Select was discontinued in 2015 and replaced by Jack Daniel's 100 Proof in 2016.

Rich aromas of vanilla, cinnamon, citrus, caramel, and honey, complemented by hints of banana bread, raisins, pepper, dark fruits, toasted oak, corn, and cereal sweetness. Some pine, maple, and light wood-smoke notes may also be present.
Palate
A thick and sweet palate with notes of brown sugar, vanilla, and caramel, balanced by spices, salt, and wood. Flavors of bananas, blueberries, citrus, grape, simple syrup, cocoa, crab-apples, and sweetcorn are also present, with hints of maple charcoal and light nuttiness.
Finish
A long and spicy finish with lingering notes of sugar, fruits, and oak. Expect flavors of bitter orange, grapefruit, red grapes, cooked red fruit, licorice, pepper, cinnamon, butterscotch, and salted butter.
