An initial aroma of freshly cut hay is complemented by crisp orchard fruit (green apples and pears) with a twist of lime zest. Mild pot still spices deepen from green tea to hazelnut and milk chocolate, with notes of honey, malt, and roast coffee essence.
Palate
Initial sweet mouth coating typical of Irish pot still is complemented by subtle hops and cocoa beans from the beer cask finish. Mellow and chewy with light malt, mocha latte, dark chocolate, toffee, and pralines.
Finish
Long and sweet with milk chocolate and butterscotch. Chocolate and coffee notes develop further, with vanilla, honey, and green apple.
