Description
Jameson Crested is a premium Irish whiskey, a re-branded version of the classic 'Crested Ten' (which was not a 10-year-old whiskey). It pays homage to the earliest whiskies bottled at the Bow Street Distillery, marking Jameson's first distillery-bottled brand in 1963. This triple-distilled blend combines a high proportion of pot still whiskey (often 60%) and grain whiskey. It is matured in a combination of American bourbon barrels and Spanish sherry butts, with a significant percentage matured in Oloroso Sherry casks. The whiskey is produced at the Midleton Distillery in County Cork, Ireland.
