Description

This single malt from the Isle of Jura, independently bottled by Wilson & Morgan, was distilled in 1992 and matured for three decades before being bottled in 2022. It was aged in refill bourbon oak casks, allowing the spirit's character to remain intact and evolve slowly. The nose is delicately fruity and sweet with notes of vanilla, cream, fragrant cereals, grapes, red apples, and bananas, while the palate reveals marked herbal notes and delicate tannins.

Green apples and soft grape notes, soft baked cereal bars, lemon and lime fondant icing, banana bread and soft chewy toffee, soft spices and a little hint of beeswax, a light coastal aroma, farmhouse bread and salted butter.
Palate
Fruity with some herbal notes including a deliciously balanced spiced apple and toasted waffles, some rich waxiness with Jasmine tea, pepper and soft cereal, quince and very subtle lemongrass, ripe banana, a nice tannic flavour that balances out the rich fruity herbal notes across the lingering finish.
