Description

This Jura 15 Year Old is part of Douglas Laing's Old Particular 'Managing Director's Selection', personally chosen by Cara Laing. It was distilled in February 2008 and matured for 15 years in a refill hogshead. Bottled in February 2023 at 48.4% ABV, it is presented at natural colour and without chill-filtration. A total of 297 bottles were drawn from the cask, offering layers of creamy grist and vanilla, honeyed sweetness, spiced fruit, and Scottish tablet. It is described as a honeyed, spice-led dram that opens with notes of vanilla and fruit, unfolding into a bright, mainland-style palate and finishing with a distinctly Scottish character.
