Kavalan Distillery was founded in 2005 in Taiwan, aiming to apply Scottish whisky-making methods. The Kavalan Podium is a single malt whisky aged in a combination of new American oak casks and refill casks, resulting in a delicate yet complex profile. It is bottled at 46% ABV and is non-chillfiltered. This expression has received multiple awards, including a Silver at the World Whiskies Awards and Gold at the IWSC.
