Description
Kavalan Solist Sherry Cask is a single malt whisky from Taiwan, part of Kavalan's Solist series, which features single cask bottlings. This expression is matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts, contributing to its complex, oily texture and notes of dried fruits, chocolate, and roasted coffee. The whisky is bottled at cask strength, without chill-filtration or added coloring, and is known for its intense sherry influence. Kavalan, Taiwan's first commercial single malt whisky distillery, began production in 2006 and has quickly gained international recognition for its whiskies, which mature rapidly due to Taiwan's hot and humid climate.
