Description
The Kilchoman Sauternes Cask Matured 2024 Edition is a limited release Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, fully matured in a combination of first-fill and refill Sauternes wine casks. This 5-year-old expression, bottled at 50% ABV, is non-chill filtered and has no added coloring. It balances Kilchoman's characteristic floral peaty smoke with the sweetness of butter, roasted pineapple, and candied ginger from the Sauternes casks. The barley used is peated to 50 ppm from the Port Ellen Maltings.
