Nose
Young but creamy, peat apparent but balanced with wine cask influence, black pepper, creamy vanilla custard base. With water: Wine more apparent, lemon citrus, less creamy, softer pepper and peat, dark chocolate note. [13]
Palate
Heat of ABV, big arrival of peat, wine influence, sharp blackberries, cherries, strawberries, plenty of black pepper. With water: Much softer, sweeter and creamier, richer mouthfeel, balanced taste between spicy pepper, earthy peat and fruity wine notes. [13]
Finish
Fruity notes fade, leaving ABV tingle, peat smoke, oak tannins and spice. With water: Sweeter on the finish, same notes of peat and oak spice, just more balanced. [13]
