Nose
Intense peat smoke, sea, iodine, heavy sweetness, sweet spices, good, mature sherry and creamy vanilla. Hints of dried fruit, vanilla, and a touch of sherry.
Palate
Very thick and rich. A massive mouthful of malt and sherry with good fruity sweetness. Big, powerful peat and oak. Smoky, salty flavors with a sweetness from malt and a subtle spiciness. Dry peat smoke fills the palate with a gentle but strong sweetness, followed by sea and salt with touches of wood.
Finish
Long, spicy finish, figs, dates, peat smoke, vanilla. Lingering notes of peat smoke and oak. Long, elegant peat-filled finish with lots of salt and seaweed.
