Description

This is a Lagavulin Islay single malt whisky, distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2008 for the Feis Ile festival. It is a single cask bottling from cask number 1403, personally selected by Distillery Manager Ian MacArthur. This limited edition release consists of only 580 individually numbered bottles and was available exclusively to visitors at the distillery. It was bottled at cask strength of 52.9% ABV and is non-chill filtered. The whisky matured in a European Oak cask. It has received high praise, scoring 92 points with WhiskyFun and an average of 91/100 from Malt Maniacs.
