Description
This sought-after single malt is renowned for its substantial peat-smoke characteristic of southern Islay, yet it also delivers richness and a dryness that make it a truly intriguing drink. The 16-year-old, matured in oak casks, has indeed set a standard for Islay whiskies from the Lagavulin distillery. The White Horse Edition, bottled prior to the Diageo acquisition when the label bore the White Horse Distillers name, is highly appealing to collectors and is quickly becoming scarce.
