This Linkwood 2008 is an independent bottling by Little Brown Dog Spirits, an experimental micro-distillery and bottler based in rural Aberdeenshire, Scotland, formed in 2013. They are known for selecting interesting single casks and bringing transparency to their spirits. This single malt was distilled at Linkwood Distillery in 2008 and bottled in 2021 after a brandy cask finish. Linkwood is an important Diageo malt distillery known for providing fillings to blended Scotch brands and is rarely seen officially bottled as a single malt.
