Description
The old Littlemill distillery is a legendary old whisky distillery that is sadly no longer with us. There's some evidence of illegal distilling going on there way back to the 14th century. It's also likely to be the first licensed distillery, with King George III granting a distilling licence in 1773. With all this great history behind Littlemill it's no surprise that it produced some amazing dram. This Littlemill 21 Years Old is a rare vintage bottling from the closed Lowland distillery, released by independent bottler Hart Brothers as part of their Finest Collection. The single malt was distilled in February 1992 and matured for 21 years in a first-fill sherry butt before being bottled in September 2013.
