This sensational 28 year old Speyside single malt was laid to sleep at the Macallan distillery in March 1989 and bottled by Hart Brothers in November 2017 for their Legends Collection range. Drawn from single Sherry cask number 1047 at a natural strength 51.1% ABV, this is one of just 240 very limited bottlings that comes with a lovely timber presentation and COA with tasting notes. A suitable whisky for the Hart Brothers Legends Collection: 1989-vintage Macallan matured for 28 years in an oloroso sherry butt. This is a proper old-school Macallan, with rich dried fruit running through its core, as well as classic spiced orange notes. It's a very limited edition of just 240 bottles, the perfect addition for any Macallan fans collection.
