Nose
Warm pudding moist with Maraschino, abundance of figs, dates, raisins, dried mango and cherry. Unusual scents of thick bamboo leaves opening to bamboo cigar box, wood oil, followed by even more peculiar ink stains in the bustling old printing press.
Palate
Undoubtedly Macallan's DNA with elevated sweet, well-oiled texture and biscuity top notes over soft dry resinous. Delicious plums and dates emerged, along with swollen nuts.
Finish
Lasting, dignified and elegant oily wood coating. The spectrum of syrupy dried fruit diminished to fragrant spiced and bitter notes, like a large old cigar with rich, leathery smoke.
