Description

Michter's US*1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a small batch whiskey made from a carefully selected mashbill featuring high-quality American corn. It is matured to the peak of perfection in fire-charred, new American white oak barrels, which are air-dried for 18-48 months and toasted prior to charring. Each batch is truly 'small batch,' consisting of a maximum of twenty full barrels, ensuring excellence from every barrel. The whiskey enters the barrel at an unusually low 103 proof, allowing it to extract a wider range of wood-derived flavors during maturation. Reflecting the spirit of Kentucky, this bourbon is described as nuanced, mellow, and earthy. Michter's US*1 Small Batch was named 'The 2023 Most Admired Whiskey in the World' by Drinks International.
