Michter's US*1 Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon is made from a carefully selected mashbill featuring high-quality American corn, aged in fire-charred new American white oak barrels. Each batch is truly 'small batch,' typically composed of no more than twenty barrels, ensuring excellence from every barrel. Reflecting the spirit of Kentucky, this bourbon is nuanced, mellow, and earthy, bottled at 45.7% ABV. It is a non-age statement release, known for its rich caramel, vanilla, and stone fruit notes, with a smoky depth and an oak finish. Michter's is known for its meticulous production process, including air-drying wood and toasting barrels prior to charring, and using a low barrel entry proof.
