Nose
Rich, effervescent, syrupy malt barley, sweet caramel, toffee, vanilla, creme brulee, maple, and a rich beefiness, with hints of fruit, walnuts, moss, pollen, and a slightly dusty, powdery, and perfumy character that becomes fruitier and sweeter with air.
Palate
Sweet, luscious malt with golden barley, Oloroso cherry, superb bitter oak, allspice, raisin, a touch of bitterness, old citrus, blackberry, bitter chocolate, chili ginger, barbecued spices, yellow fruity beer, and a slightly soapy note.
Finish
Long coco chocolate tang, dry, slightly crisp, woody, warming, with a bonfire-like toastiness, paper, and cardboard notes. Dirty and fruity, yet not meaty.
