This blended whisky from Nikka is believed to be a marriage of whiskies from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. It is a premium blended whisky from Japan, made with malt and grain whiskies. Rich aroma with notes of orange, dried apricots, cardamom, and barley malt. Also, caramel, nougat, peanut, green grass, light vanilla, soft grain, and red fruit.
Palate
Rounded, soft, with light notes of chocolate, coconut, pepper, almond, coffee, and oak. Liquid caramel, nougat, maraschino cherry, oak, barley sugar, and toffee.
Finish
Fresh and soft with nuances of spices (coriander, pepper, cloves) and citrus. Medium length with caramel, sugar, malt, nuttiness, dry, and refreshing. Also firm, spiced, and marked by candied citrus.
