Nose
Complex, with trademark Nikka aromas of bubblegum, white chocolate, brewed tea leaves, incense, and a slight sarsaparilla syrup note. Floral and vanilla notes are also present.
Palate
Extremely smooth and silky, with liquorice, malty tones, robust cereals, and vegetal notes like peppered bean shoots and green olives. Floral notes, fresh cut grass, honey sweetness, and a peppery character are also detected.
Finish
Short-lived but pleasant, with an initial explosion of liquorice followed by mild black pepper and bean sprouts, rolling out to grain and cereals. A hint of bitter oak, more spiciness, fresh cut grass, and a subtle hint of smoke at the back.
