Description

This ongoing series from Bruichladdich is the most heavily peated whisky in the world. Named after James Brown's farm that is situated above Port Charlotte, this Brobdingnagian whisky deftly lives up to its description as, "The iron fist in the velvet glove". Released for Feis Ile 2019, the Event Horizon is the oldest Octomore released by Bruichladdich and was distilled in 2007 and has been matured for 12 years.

Long and perfect, with lingering PX sherry-soaked raisins, dark chocolate, berry jams, and a thick, smoky blanket of salt, sugar, and apricot.
