Description

Octomore 13.3 is a super heavily peated Islay single malt Scotch whisky from Bruichladdich Distillery, aged for 5 years. It was distilled in 2016 from 2015 harvested Concerto barley grown on Octomore Farm on Islay, and bottled in 2022 at 61.1% ABV. This edition is peated to 129.3 PPM and matured in a combination of first-fill ex-American whiskey barrels and second-fill European oak casks, specifically Rivesaltes from France and Ribera del Duero from Spain. It is non-chill filtered and free of added color.

Elegant peat smoke, alpine herbs, soft gingerbread, crisp apples, white wine, pear, white chocolate, dry vanilla, lemon-lime, damp hay, black pepper, and creme brulee.
Palate
Sweet, delicate smoke, caramelised honey, shortbread, waxy lemon peel, creamy mouthfeel, rich wet oak, vanilla, orange cream soda, lemon zest, sea salt caramel, coconut, marzipan, dark chocolate, dried figs, raisins, spice, and oak.
Finish
