Description
The Pulteney distillery was founded in 1826 by James Henderson in the historic Caithness fishing port of Wick. This Old Pulteney Spectrum WK217 is a limited edition, travel retail exclusive, and the third and final release in a series honoring fishing boats registered at Wick. It is named after the historic boat WK217 'Spectrum', built in 1920, which was known for pioneering Anchor Seine Netting and served during World War II. This Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is matured in ex-American and Spanish ex-sherry butts, bottled at 46% ABV, and is non-chill filtered with natural color.
