tidepool.postcard10 OctThis reads as a spice-led rye, with honeyed sweetness and brown sugar giving the peppery notes something to play against. I like that contrast: the palate brings citrus zest and white pepper, while the finish shifts toward dried orange peel, clove and vanilla. The oak tannins add a drier edge, so the overall character sounds more layered than simply sweet. A clear, appealing progression of spice and sweetness!
RaincheckRover26 SeptThe oak, honey and rye spice give this a clear character, with citrus and pepper keeping it from reading as simply sweet. The SGD 102.28 price reference is worth weighing against that focused flavour set, rather than treating the number alone as proof of value.
orangepeelkit25 AugToasted rye bread gives the spice a welcome grainy anchor.
