Description

Redbreast is a single pot still whiskey, for which a combination of malted and un-malted barley are triple distilled in copper pot stills. The brand was created by W.A. Gilbey & Co, and bottled using whiskey sourced from Jameson's Bow Street distillery in Dublin. A remarkable aroma of fresh tropical fruits, nuts, and rich dried fruit, including mango, pineapple, blood orange, and red berries, complemented by fresh herbs, aromatic oils, wood spices, vanilla sweetness, treacle toffee, walnuts, and toasted oak.
Palate
Incredibly rich and luxurious with fleshy and dark red fruits like plums, black cherries, summer berries, cranberry, and nectarines, balanced by soft vanilla, toasted oak, sherry nuttiness, and a prickle of chili oil, along with cinnamon, red pepper, nutmeg, and exotic spices.
