Description
Built to straddle the banks of the Forth-Clyde canal in 1840, Rosebank distillery's Lowland location between Glasgow and Edinburgh produced a still highly revered single malt, comprising of a smooth, meadow flower bouquet with fresh citrus notes. Rosebank once produced one of the most popular Lowland whiskies, but the distillery was mothballed in 1993 and bottlings of Rosebank single malt have become extremely rare ever since. This 'Grace' bottling is the fourth release in Elixir Distillers' (formerly Speciality Drinks) 'The Roses' series, matured for 21 years in a combination of ex-Madeira and American Oak barrels.
