Description

This is a limited edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky from The Singleton of Glen Ord distillery, bottled at 51.8% ABV. It was released to commemorate the reopening of the distillery's new visitor centre in July 2022. The whisky was matured exclusively in second-fill Spanish sherry casks and is one of 3000 bottles produced. It is described as non chill-filtered and of natural colour, designed to showcase Glen Ord's fruity distillery character.

Light, fresh, and vibrant with crisp green apple, pear, tropical fruits, butterscotch, freshly cut grass, lemon meringue pie, dried fruits, crystallised orange peel, vanilla fudge, and subtle sandalwood.
Palate
Creamy texture with zingy lemon, spicy white pepper, cooked apple and pear, peach, apricot, white chocolate, vanilla sugar, fudge, toffee, sherry-steeped sultanas, hazelnuts, and lemon sherbet.
Finish
Decent length, warming, lightly drying, with white pepper spice, barley malt, subtle tannins, and a mouth-cooling aftertaste.
