Nose
Very typical Malt of Scotland aromas come to mind, in particular, light grainy notes typical to Islay. Instant hints of Coffee, Plum, Ginger and local fruits.
Palate
A soft start and plenty of coffee marmalade emerges followed by a hint of dark chocolate. The spiciness of the ginger comes to light in the mid but the overwhelming power comes from the coffee notes and that makes the essence of barley fields keep lingering.
Finish
A long and lingering finish with a hint of coffee and dark chocolate.
