Description
A revered single malt distillery in Campbeltown that has operated since 1828. It is today owned by J&A Mitchell & Co who produce three single malt styles there. These are its flagship two-and-half times distilled Springbank, a heavily-peated malt known as Longrow, and the triple-distilled Hazelburn. Springbank is the only distillery in Scotland to malt, distil, mature, and bottle whisky entirely on-site, using three stills and long fermentation times. This Hand Filled Distillery Exclusive is bottled from an 'infinity bottle' or demijohn system, where new whisky is added as it's drawn, resulting in an evolving blend.
