Nose
Heavy on the oak (cedar wood, grass) with a light whiff of estery glue, turning to vanilla marshmallow, coconut cream, and jammy fruits (peaches and apricots). Cinnamon, hints of leather.
Palate
Fruitiness with mango, grilled pineapple, and berries. Heavy dose of minty fresh oak, ginger, grapes, and hints of aniseed. Water makes it creamier and fruitier.
Finish
Fruity, with more leather and dry leafy notes. More charred American oak character than red wine.
