Description

This is Suntory's flagship blended whisky, first introduced in 1937 by founder Shinjiro Torii. Affectionately known as 'Kakubin' (meaning 'square bottle' in Japanese) due to its distinctive tortoise-shell design, it is Japan's best-selling whisky. It is a blend of whiskies from Suntory's Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita distilleries, primarily matured in bourbon casks. Known for its light and refreshing character, it is highly versatile and particularly popular for highball cocktails.
