Description

Talisker Distillers Edition 2008 is a special release from Talisker on the Isle of Skye. This richly flavoured maritime malt, distilled in 1996, has been double matured in Amoroso cask wood. Its luscious, fruity sweetness perfectly complements the crisp, dry peat smoke and familiar pepperiness of Talisker. The whisky was bottled in 2008 at 45.8% for Diageo's popular Distillers Edition series. It is a limited edition release, part of an annual collection since 1997, and has received numerous awards.
