Description

The Talisker Elements 27 Year Old is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky, part of the 'Elements' series, released in 2022. It was matured for 27 years through a three-stage process: initially in refill casks, followed by a second maturation in heavily charred casks, and finally laid to rest in old European oak puncheons. This distillery-exclusive release, limited to 2,000 individually numbered bottles, pays homage to the coastal climate and environment of the Isle of Skye, offering a balance of sweet, spicy, maritime, fruity, and smoky notes.

Distinct fruitiness, dried apricots, figs, raisins, prunes, salty, spicy, maritime notes, plump ripe summer berries and cherries, salted caramel, honey, slight bitterness, ginger, salt and pepper, burning wood, sweet fruit compote.
Finish
Spicy, peppery kick, gentle woodiness, lengthy, cloying, oily mouthfeel, fruity berries, chilli flavoured dark chocolate, cinder toffee apple, pipe tobacco smokiness, long and spicy with more smoke and some fruity freshness.
