Nose
Frankly resinous and smoky with crystallized fruits, rich sherry, coffee, flints, charcoal, dried tangerines, furniture polish, and leather.
Palate
A powerful attack on sherry, peat smoke, and black pepper, accompanied by bitter chocolate, Armagnac-soaked prunes, salty liquorice, and walnut oil.
Finish
Amazingly long on pepper, prunes, strong chestnut honey, and orange liqueur with an elegant balancing bitterness.
