Description

An exquisitely aged 30 year old single malt expression from Tobermory distillery, of the Isle of Mull. The whisky enjoyed a triple cask maturation, spending time in a sherry butt, a rum cask and a premium pedro ximenez cask too. Independent bottler Spiritfilled bottled just 245 bottles as part of their Mythical Beasts range. Notes of freshly baked sourdough and almond.

A gentle, briney seaside aroma, nicely balanced with a hint of wet slate and sweet almond. With water, notes of fresh pear, butterscotch and green apple, balanced by saline minerals, kelp, cut hay and vegetal notes.
Palate
Warm, enveloping sweetness of porridge and toasted cereal. With water, warming cereals and toasted sour dough bread.
Finish
Mellow oats and barley along with freshly baked bread followed by a fiery and confident, lengthy finish. With water, an elegant finish with pink peppercorn accents and apples.
